EPICon, the annual conference hosted by EPIC, the Electronically Published Internet Connection, is the gathering place for authors, publishers and other industry professionals. We celebrate the best of the best with EPIC's eBook Awards, share the newest industry information and ideas, hone writing skills, and explore new markets. Don't miss this wonderful event! It will be held March 10-13, 2011 at the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel and Suites at Historic Williamsburg, VA. Two full days of workshops on the industry, tech, the business and the art of writing, promotion, and genres will be highlighted by EPIC's annual Business Meeting and the Keynote Luncheon on Friday and the New Voices luncheon and the gala EPIC's eBook Awards Banquet on Saturday. The pre-con kicks off with a bang with our Thursday evening mixer, and all conference attendees are invited to wind-down with the Sunday farewell breakfast. Want to bring along a non-member? We have rates for non-members, but since the difference in convention fee for members and non-members is $30, why not join EPIC, if you're eligible, and try us for a year for the same price as attending the conference as a non-member? We have ala carte rates for meals only, special class passes for students and teachers at the local colleges, and day rates for people that can only spare a day to hit the convention. And we're inviting young authors (middle school through college) to join us for a reduced rate this year. You're a finalist in the awards and can only make it in for the banquet and awards ceremony? That's okay, we have banquet-only tickets and Sunday breakfast tickets available for people in that situation. Have a non-writing family member along or want to take a break from convention topics? We're offering a three-day pass to Colonial Williamsburg for the three days of the convention for only $25. Note: participating members may also want to get the pass. In addition to access to the Historical Area, it gets you free use of the shuttles to get from here to there around the site, including the bookstore at which we hope to hold eFiesta and signing. We've got a great low rate on the hotel this year, and all registered hotel guests get a free complimentary continental breakfast with the room. All other meals, from the Thursday night mixer through Sunday's farewell breakfast, are included in the full convention registration or the ala carte meals only package. Remember, e-publishing is the Brave New World. The last two years have shown us tremendous changes in the industry. Who knows what will happen by March? |
